The gallery is flourishing with creativity as we open our new exhibition ‘Awakening’. Embracing the positivity of Spring our makers, artists and designers have been busy producing work which reflects the season change with a sense of optimism and renewal for the year ahead.

It is the season for intimate gatherings as friends and family come together to create special moments with their loved ones.

Embracing the cosiness of the winter season, your home becomes your retreat, reflected in the deep colours and soft materials, and adding those festive accents that twinkle. A time for gifting and investing time in others, evoking childhood memories and traditions.

The Togetherness exhibition focuses on a handmade collection of heart-warming gifts combined with individually crafted pieces to adorn the home

New Spring exhibition – ‘Our time’

The new collection of pieces made by local and national artists, have been created around the ‘Our time’ brief.

A reflection of the precious time we have’; it’s our time to self nurture, making it our time to make a difference.

As the season begins to change we are proud to present our new exhibition ‘The Light of Winter’, an enchanted collection of handmade works by local & UK makers. The change of light, the need to self nurture, wrap up warm, prepare the home for the colder climes, the gatherings that occur with friends and family as the season becomes more festive…..

The Season – you imagine the still and quiet of a frosty or snowy day. The tranquillity of autumn.
The Home and You – in our own intimate spaces, the battening down of the hatches, self care and nurturing.
The Festivities – although it will have a festive element the mood will be a calm contrast to the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period.

HANDPICKED AND HANDMADE FOR YOU SINCE 2005

For over 15 years we have been bringing beautifully designed and crafted ceramics to the table

From long standing brands such as Broste Copenhagen to the wonderful creations of local ceramic artist Liz Collinson. We have been keeping tables well dressed in a relaxed and sophisticated style since 2005.

Many a favourite mug has been bought from Repeat Repeat and homes have been treated to handbuilt treasures from Folded Forest, Emily Conroy and the latest maker in our folio, Rowena Gilbert.

A central part of your everyday ritual, our tableware brings a comforting ambience, we believe in part because of the love that has been invested in their creation. The work of talented designers and artists.

Always a delight too when we see how much these pieces are cherished when they travel off to their new homes. One of our wonderful customers, Ana Rocha, has been sharing her delicious nutritional meals photographed in Broste tableware purchased at Arteria. What a treat to see and thank you Ana for your inspirational posts! Always a joy to see!

Since the launch of our new Gallery showcase we have had such positive feedback

Visitors have commented on what an uplifting ambience the exhibition has, expressing how inspiring it is to see such colour and beauty.

When we opened our post lockdown show we stated that “celebrating  nature and our locality has never seemed so poignant”

We truly believe our artists have captured the essence of optimism in their collections
